BUSY LITTLE SATURDAY

This morning we were greeted by an unexpected visitor – the chicken from the house two doors down. She had found her way into the house, but apparently couldn't quite figure out how to get herself back out. I snapped a few photos of our spontaneous guest and then promptly opened the sliding glass doors so she could escape back on home.

Armed with a Sharpie, tape measure, and Post-It notes, David and I quickly got to work measuring and marking the house for our low-voltage installation. This includes the under-cabinetry and under-shelf lighting for the kitchen, wine cellar, and master closets. We were soon joined by the crew in charge of caulking and sealing around all the nooks and windows. I was pretty much in awe over how well they were able to navigate the house on stilts!
